Saudi Arabia introduced an electronic visa system in 2019. Since then, e-Visa has been functioning as an electronic equivalent of a regular tourist visa that eligible applicants can obtain entirely online. The system of electronic visas eliminates the necessity to spend long hours at the Embassy and go through nerve-wracking interviews.
The applicant simply needs a recent face photo and a valid passport for a successful online application. Every application requires covering the processing fee of 169 Euro. Types of Saudi Arabia e-Visa
The KSA offers only one type of electronic visa: a multiple-entry tourist visa. The Saudi Arabia online visa covers all tourist activities, including performing Umrah (i.e., the pilgrimage to Mecca).
Saudi Arabia online visa remains valid for 1 year from the date of issue and enables numerous visits that may last up to 90 days in total (either spread over 1 long visit or a few shorter stays).

Application for a Saudi Arabia visa is a very intuitive and straightforward process. Eligible travelers simply need to follow these steps:
- Fill out the online form: enter all the required details in the application form. Double-check the entered information if it is free from any errors.
- Cover the processing fee: choose one from the available methods of online payment and pay the service fee of 169 Euro.
- Check your email inbox: after making the online payment, check if the confirmation number has been delivered to your email. This number will be necessary to follow the status of your visa application.
- Receive your visa: wait up to 72 hours to receive the visa approval and download your visa.
